Dak is only an MVP candidate because the team he plays on. This year he's good at not throwing picks. That's it. Mediocre yardage/TD stats.
Bell isn't MVP because the Steelers are 7-4 with Bell. If they were 10-1, 9-2, maybe. He's not adding much as far as MVP goes.
You want to talk about him being the best player in the league? I'll listen. He's ridiculous.
It's weird how "value" means something completley different in football than baseball.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think the COY should again be The Dark Lord Vader in New England. Brady suspended four games, Gronkowski lost to back surgery--none of it matters, they're still the class of the AFC. Belichick's ability to keep winning no matter what the adversity is unreal.

Make that: Without Beckham, the Giants would be winning as much as the 49ers.

Ummmm... You know he didn't mean Mantle winning the MVP award as a joke, right? Pretty sure he was referring to his joke about Trout playing in only 159 games.

    Bet you're wrong about that.

How many times did Riley win COY with the Showtime Lakers?

How many times did Magic win MVP?

Actually, Magic won 3. Not sure why I thought he won just 1.

Riley won COY once with Lakers and even that was in the final days of Showtime.

You clearly haven't seen Dallas play very much.

    Um, I bet I'm not?

(Not sure how I'm supposed to otherwise respond.)

Morris is a proven back and the Cowboys line is awesome. Giants minus Beckham was terrible. He's irreplaceable -- and that's a fact. Cowboys have already proven they could replace their RB. Hell, Joseph Randle was halfway decent last year until he started stealing underpants.

Morris' numbers have declined every year since his excellent rookie season. He's the No. 3 back on that team (behind McFadden) for a reason. And halfway decent (Randle averaged 52.5 yards per game) is not what Dallas is getting from Elliott.

I still say Beckham is more valuable to the Giants than Zeke is to Dallas.

Fun MVP trivia: There are three players who have received MVP votes three times, but never won the award. Who are they?
