You're the person suggesting he somehow contradicts himself or that (gasp!) his thinking may have changed. I'm open to the possibility. Show me.

That it was his goal or a test of some kind is not relevant if his charges are true. Also, even he is not a serious person, it is a serious accusation and a worthwhile story.

More to the point, your take on this is yet another display of your overwhelming hypocrisy given your incorrectly taking the exact opposite stance regarding the media on the thread about the Berlin attack. The media correctly moves cautiously there, you cry. The media is too quick to report on this story, you cry.

His thinking hasn't changed ... he's just whoring himself out for a seat at the cool kids' table.

He purposely caused a disruption in order to get removed, so that he could play victim.

Quant, you offer no evidence of that except your dislike of Krugman's ideas, ideas that have yet to be proven wrong by events. It's not a good look for you.
But to my main point. Two poli sci guys have published research in the Journal of Politics finding that when there are good games on Monday Night Football the day before an election, voter turnout drops. Therefore, as a civic duty, the NFL must reserve the first Monday night in November for the Browns and Jaguars.

Now Delta's statement should be accepted without question because YF wants it to be the truth.

You and @cranberry seem to think my reactions to Krugman have something to do with his Keynesian leanings (or some such thing). You couldn't be more wrong.

My liking or disliking Krugman's contemporary ideas has nothing to do with my assessment of him. The guy did fabulous work with regards to trade, work that won him a Nobel and that he now routinely contradicts for no other reason than people he thinks are pretty are nice to him if he does so. His substantive work will stand the test of time ... he should be grateful his punditry will, one day, be forgotten.

This guy was a Trump voter, and a member of the congregation?

    Wait a minute...
