They should just take it one step further and call her "an ape in heels" and then they'd be fit to hold public office. Amirite?

The fundamental mindset of the right wing was defined by Jimmy Cagney in "Roaring Twenties." "So you can dish it out but you can't take it."

I cannot believe people are defending this idiot going after Ivanka on an airplane. You don't like her or her father, I get it. Fine. But why does everyone else have to listen to your tantrum? Like the Youtube guy the other day, and the pro-Trump idiot on Delta -- screw up your own lives, don't bother anyone else.

I totally agree with John Cole, founder of the once-righty, now lefty Website Balloon Juice, who said, "people should not be fucking assholes on airplanes no matter what the situation."

I'm a Southern boy, and that means that I have no use for rude people. Ivanka can't help who her daddy is, and yelling at her on a plane does nothing except show your own ass.

Campaigning solely on divisiveness and assholery has consequences.

Hmmmm...I don't think the other people on the flight did any campaigning

Not as payback. As a byproduct of the general atmosphere of the country.

No one should be surprised or indignant about it. It was pretty easy to see coming when the campaign continued down its path.

And, not for nothing, but most of us deal with assholes on a daily basis anyway. At least this one unleashed it with somewhat of a moral compass.

Lost me on "moral compass." Passenger probably a student of the WWCHD school.

Why be an asshole? What do you get from it? This is no different than that nitwit woman in Kentucky. It's really that simple.

Why be an asshole? Because Trump showed it's chic to be an asshole.

We're in the asshole stage as a country.
