Besides the unlikeable flawed and uninspiring Hillary who was covered like a child serial killer by the national media, the Democrats should be faulted for the issues they emphasized. Instead of championing health care, education and expanding jobs they were front and center on BLack Lives Matters, LGBT rights, trans bathrooms and it appeared to the exclusion of issues that affected and effected most people. Yes it is absolutely bad for cops to shoot innocent people. But most people do not feel that issue personally. So if you take a candidate that is aloof and that candidate represents issues that don't affect you, you turn to the populists who sound good.

In the end Americans proved they are too dumb for self government.

Clinton spoke about jobs and the economy way more than she spoke about social justice issues.

The most common words in Hillary Clinton’s speeches, in one chart

Failure on their part to listen doesn't change the words coming out of her mouth.

It's not about people not listening. They aren't getting the message in the first place if her economic message was limited to stump speeches.

I can't recall any Clinton commercial that brought up economic issues. Go back to the debates for more.

I'm calling flat out bullshit. Full Stop.

Hitlerry was far from my ideal candidate, ergo the nickname, tee hee. I didn't vote for her full of golden visions of the future. I figured she would do some shit I didn't like, a lot of shit I didn't really care about much pro or con, and some shit I did like. I figured at best I'd be moderately pleased with her but also frustrated.

But figuring I was gonna be frustrated with "Hitlerry" wasn't gonna make me go out and vote for HITLER.

We got too many mother fucking morons voting in this country. Hopefully they'll go in the first round of nuclear strikes.

Which is fine. NC is basically a conservative southern state. What isn't fine is the anti-democratic (both small and large D) crap that the NC GOP is doing. These are dictatorship tactics..

I have seen that before. Since she rarely speaks where I live and the media covered emails , deplorables and 24/7 Trump, her policy prescriptions never made it to me. I did get plenty of talking heads telling me how important it will be for a woman to win generally and this woman specifically. My wife and daughters were elated and then crestfallen over this election as women. They took it personally. I didn't see it that way. I voted for her because she was better qualified than Donald Fuck. Her message never got to me. And she didn't work hard enough to deliver it to me, a white educated east coast man
