President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

For the most part this just reminds me that presidential endorsements seem pretty antiquated. They mattered when information came out in a trickle and newspapers were respected for expertise. They're not any more, and the only benefit to doing them is a little traffic bump from angry folks.

I'm sure some endorsements matter, mostly on the local level, but the big ones seem like a great way to induce rage with little payout.

I gotta say, you sometimes write some really worked-up shit. Get a grip, man. If the NYT endorsed Trump you would have a line out the door to dump subs. That's human nature. Why continue to support something that has views completely opposite to your own?
