Fantasy football 2016

I need about nine points from Dez Bryant tonight to drag my sorry-ass 6-8 team into the championship game. I'm down 61.83-52.13. Eric Berry's INT right at the end of the game might wind up being a killer. All in all, though, I came out of the Sunday nighter in pretty good shape. He had Berry (IDP), Alex Smith, Spencer Ware and Demariyus Thomas and only scored 23 points. I'm just amazed I even have a shot.
Now I just have to hope Dez plays long enough tonight to get a chance at a touchdown or two.

 

I was really hoping the Cowboys would sit Zeke Elliott tonight to manage his carries. I have a 2-point lead with Zeke the only player left. Unfortunately, Garrett has said he plans to play all his starters. Looks like I'm going 0-2 in title games.

 

I still think Prescott doesn't play much more than a half, just so they can give Romo the big sendoff at home.
Other than that, it's hard to say. It's hard to sit uninjured guys in Week 16 when you have the bye, but it certainly wouldn't be a bad idea to spread the workload around more than usual. Zeke might only get 10-15 touches instead of 20-25. He's still going to get some.

 

Up 9 with Lee going tonight against Tate. I'm worried Lee might sit the second half so I picked up Whitehead from Detroit. He's having a decent season for the Lions. Is there anyone else I should be looking at to play instead?

I'm down by .15 points right now, so I basically need one more catch from Dez to drag me into the championship game.
Among the things keeping me out as of now:
• I left Adam Thielen and Isaiah Crowell on the bench (total of 49.2 points)
• Drew Brees finished with 299 yards instead of 300, which would've been an extra 3 points
• One of my IDPs put up a bagel when we get one point per tackle
• One of his IDPs, Eric Berry, had a meaningless interception (2 points) at the end of the Sunday night game
Ay caramba.
I'm going to drive myself nuts with this thing.
At least this Monday nighter is a shootout and the Cowboys don't seem to be pulling the starters.

 

WHY IS PRESCOTT STILL IN THE FUCKING GAME?!?!?

 

I don't know, but as long as Dez Bryant keeps throwing touchdown passes it's cool.
That's a fitting way to put me over the top in this weird season. I've climbed back from a 1-5 start to somehow make it to the championship game. Hot damn.

 

And it's over!!!!! Elliott and Bryant were studs -- and I still won by 26.

 

Holy shit. I somehow managed to win and take third place by one point. Thank goodness for Tate's fumble. That sealed it.

 

I can take solace in the fact that two regular-season titles and second-place finishes will net me a payday over $600.
