Nebraska's quarterback is named Ryker Fyfe?
Named after a second banana and a bumbling deputy, it seems perfectly fitting that he's an inept backup quarterback.

Man, Stanford. How do you leave guys open for TDs like four straight passes?

After tripping on its dick at the goal line (see earlier post), Stanford got ball back with an eight-point lead, and on third down ran a toss sweep to the short side that ended with the RB going OB. The punt went to the 3-yard line, but with Carolina having 1:45 and a timeout left.

Carolina scores with 25 deconds left. Stanford saves it when Solomon Thomas gets into the backfield on the snap and makes the play that will be shown when he's a first-round pick in April,

David Shaw is a hot coaching name in both higher college and NFL circles. But the goal-line flub and the end-of-game clock management are not atypical of his time at Stanford.

For two schools that are supposed to be academically elite, Stanford and Carolina played a lot of dumb football in the 4th quarter.

If only Stanford had a sure-handed, all-purpose running back.

Their African-American Studies program is the best in the country. They have the test scores to prove it.

Looks like a case where the headline writer was more accurate than the reporter. In no way does that video show Osceola being "bucked off," as the writer said.

Aside: One of my mom's friends was on the Renegade team in college and stayed on as a volunteer ever since. She's been doing it for 30 years.
