The N.C. legislature called a special session, changed the holiday to Easter by decree and kept all the gifts for themselves. Don't like it? See you in court.

Hmm. This whole concept of "playing dirty Santa" isn't what I imagined.

Then drunk Uncle Fucko arrived in his piss-stinking pants he hasn't changed in months, vomited all over himself, whipped out his "candy cane," and started feeling up all his female relatives. So everybody decided to elect him president.

Then Trump's advisors show up to tell you that Donald was purposefully misleading all the party guests about the gift he claimed to be bringing.

So... Business Insider says to brace for massive retail chain closures in the coming weeks (and thousands of jobs lost). If he's taking credit for Carrier and others, surely Fucko gets the blame here. Right?

A giant wave of store closures is about to hit the US

The US has 23.5 square feet of retail space per person, compared with 16.4 square feet in Canada and 11.1 square feet in Australia - the next two countries with the highest retail space per capita, according to a Morningstar report from October.

I believe the difference is attributable entirely to space devoted to mattress stores.

Usually when Walmart closes a store it's because they built a bigger, better one in a better location nearby. Shuttering a store outright is rare for them, although I know it's happened before.

Speaking of which, seems like a MattressFIRM opens on every street corner in my neck of the woods.

A few months ago we had two mattress stores open across the street near us, a Sleepy's and a MattressFIRM. before Sleepy's could even have its grand opening, MattressFIRM bought it out, and so we have two MattressFIRMS across the street from one another.
