Remember when Republicans used to bitch that other countries don't respect our president? Remember when Republicans ran a campaign decrying the idea of an inexperienced* "celebrity" president? Remember when being a Republican wasn't prima facie evidence of being a hypocrite, a bigot and/or a damn fool?

*The "inexperienced" candidate had infinitely more political experience than the current President-elect.

I'm still trying to get over the hypocrisy of Mitch McConnell saying that the Democrats would not be allowed to interfere with the process of naming a Supreme Court Justice.

I can't wait to see how the R's manage to explain away not immediately repealing the ACA with no replacement for it. Increasingly they are saying that it will be about six months before they have something ready to put forward. They've had six years and have not developed a damn thing.

You think you didn't like Obamacare? Wait till you see Trumpcare. Hey, maybe Trump will have a place in his administration for Mitt Romney after all. I'm sure he'd be glad to share his wisdom and experience and help President Trump by drawing up such a health plan.

And if and when they do slap something together, remember that it's easy to make health insurance more affordable if it doesn't cover the pricey stuff.

Maybe they can shave costs by having death panels for Democrats.

It is precisely Donald Trump's knowledge that whatever comes after Obamacare will be known as Trumpcare which makes me believe Obamacare may be around awhile longer than some think.

Because the system is set up to make sure certain types of people are more equal than others, so he can get outvoted by millions and still win?

Well, Hillary squeaked by the e-mail thing, being rapped for being careless with classified information but her offenses "did not rise to the level of indictment". If she had let that be she might have been ok, but she kept claiming that she "had been cleared". That pissed off people in the FBI and next thing you know Comey dropped a letterbomb on her two weeks before the election. My uninformed opinion only, obviously.

Trump keeps poking those people with a stick he's liable to find out that his secrets are not so secret as he thought, and that they know games to play that he's never even heard of.

What's the old saying? "A secret one person knows is a secret. A secret two people know may be a secret. A secret three people know is no secret."

What are the odds on Trump's indiscretions and various sorts of dirty deals remaining secret in the long term?
