I know he can appear a caricature at times, but Joe Biden just seems to be an eminently good guy.

I've always liked Biden. I started loving the guy after he gave what must have been one of the top few speeches of his career at my daughter's class day ceremony in 2015.

Remarks by the Vice President at Yale University Class Day

Three days later his son was admitted to the hospital with a recurrence of brain cancer and he died 10 days after that, so I often go back and reread that speech against that backdrop.

I'm pretty sure he didn't know his son was having a relapse at the time of the speech, but the speech provides insight into the way he was able to push forward with humility and humor in the months after that.

Can't wait to hear how Trumpists defend the impending gutting of rights of special-needs students.
It's their country now. They're going to have a lot of egregious stuff to defend.

According to the constitution of this state, nobody has a "right" to a public education. Look for a nationwide rollout. You don't have to treat people well, just equally.

Eh, they'll just say that the parents are being wussies and that it's their own fault for vaccinating their kids.
