So your answer is ... ????

Worse overall? Does that mean you might sacrifice a tiny bit to help people? God forbid, right?

You don't seem to have better alternatives. That's pretty clear.

How could I? My feet are made of clay. Only those with the purest of souls have solutions ...

dq, what do we do about those 30 million people though? I hope we would agree that's a problem, whatever we think of the solutions.

The first election after the repeal of the ACA will feature testimonials of families of people who died because they couldn't get health care anymore due to a pre-existing condition. That's gonna be ... interesting.

Followed immediately by Republicans lamenting that Democrats would play politics with such a sensitive situation.

Oh well. If there's one thing we learned from 2016, it is that Republican voters will rally around the flag no matter how directly opposed to their stated ideals their candidate is. Those 63 million votes are in the bank, and they'll be outraged by whatever their Facebook feed tells them to be outraged about.

We have to build on our 66 million votes and make sure that they come from the people who have been specially granted extra voting power.
