Your employer doesn't stand between you and your doctor. You can buy the employer's insurance, likely at a discounted rate; go without; buy your own; or switch to a job with a better plan.

Hey, LOWIQ, see if you can find your way to page 2 of the right wing cliche retort handbook. Thanks.

Maybe half those 30 million vote.

Of the remaining 15 million, it's pretty likely 7.5 million vote Republican and don't matter.

Of the remaining 7.5 million, most of them probably don't live in swing states.

All you have to do is ratchet up the voter suppression in the remaining states, and you haven't lost a thing.

Thirty million people, being almost 10 percent of the population, and much more of adults and not seniors, who have Medicare, are probably distributed roughly in proportion to the total population, except more of them are in Medicaid expansion states. The glib "analyses" of the future posted here do no one any credit. Fuck's sake, let's see if the world doesn't blow up by 2018 before we start forecasting.

There are a few things YOU could ding me on. Relative intelligence is not one of them.

The 7.5 million have been voting Republican because the Republicans have sworn they would never ever ever ever touch their Social Security and Medicare.

They chop that, and Screaming Teabag Nation will storm into the street with guns.

"Well we thought you were only going to take SS/Medicare away from lazy mooching neegros, not my Aunt Tillie!!"

Trump, waking in the footsteps of Reagan, to meet Putin in Iceland?

If it's first meeting with a foreign leader, as President, it would be a big departure from past presidents:

It's like a suspected bank robber walking into a bank wearing a ski mask and saying, "What?"
