It's a nice thought. But this nation has no conception of the meaning of "compromise" WRT other nations' needs. It's our way or bombs. Our way or sanctions. Thus, any compromise is, by default, called "throwing the country's legs in the air."

 

Threatening the ethics official for suggesting you comply with the same ethical standard as previous presidents isn't a very good look.

 

Putting those do-gooder pussies in their place is only going to make him more popular with his supporters.

Crissakes, for someone so successful, if he's going to speak with wrestling terms, at least get them correct.

The term he wants for something that looks real but is not is "worked." As in, for instance, Trump is "working" the media by saying things to get them to react even though he doesn't mean it literally. "Kayfabe" is a term for wrestlers to keep things secret. As in, for instance, Trump's tax returns are "kayfabe."

Sheesh, our country is doomed.
