I'd say there's no such thing as "unlimited abortion" advocacy that's grounded in any kind of reality. Even if there was, why would you vote for someone who has changed his "stance" on abortion almost every single time he's asked about it?

The second example is nothing more than a Christian persecution complex, again not rooted in any kind of reality.

He was mediocre in the beginning but then he went too far.

Perhaps you don't see it as voting for him so much as voting against her. With him, there's at least a chance things might fall your way. With her, not so much.

Now you're being selective with your framing a la @Baron Scicluna ...

I'd say they are allowing their Republicanism to trump their Christian values. Either character matters or it doesn't.

If they can afford to make the trip to DC from Indiana, they're not poor. They are, however, stupid if they think the twice-divorced, womanizing, admitted sexual assailant who says he doesn't feel compelled to confess his sins to God is an upstanding Christian who will bring Godliness back to the White House.

If they *really* cared that much about abortions, they'd stop doing so much to fight contraception.

It's not about preventing abortions. It's about asserting control.

In Indiana, "Godliness" is code for "whiteness."

Left the wife at the curb. Probably a regular habit.

I'll be happy to listen to these people when they start talking about setting up an agency to assist with finding adoptive parents for these unaborted children, but then I realize that's something a real Christian might do.

Or that they don't like people having recreational sex.

Meet my sister and brother-in-law. They've adopted five, all from poor communities and drug-exposed prenatally, because they think that's the moral thing to do for a Christian opposed to abortion.
