Greg Popovich said yesterday he'd have grounded his kids for six months for some of the things Trump has said. How long are they grounded for saying what Madonna said?

He's not going to say "fuck stick" in front of the children, is he?

Of course. Dumpf can't allow any of them to get voted down or even seriously disputed, because they're ALL preposterously unqualified and incompetent; if one gets shot down there's really no reason they all shouldn't be.

If the GOP allows any crack in the facade, a stampede-cascade effect could gain steam. If DeVos gets voted down because she's incompetent and unqualified, what about Carson? He has no qualifications either. Perry is an incompetent boob, etc etc.

And so on and so on. They can't allow that snowball to start rolling.

The Dems should walk out on the charade. Refuse to vote. Make the final count on all of them 52 yes, 0 no, 48 not voting.

Like it really matters what the actual vote totals are.

No matter what, Spicer will be out soon enough to declare they were all confirmed 100-0. Period. No questions.

The "ideal" of the seperation of church and state isn't mentioned in law, the Constitution, or any governing document.

Should church sponsored programs that feed the poor, treat drug addicts, or encourage adoption be unable to receive government funds? What about Catholic hospitals? Should they not be able to accept Medicaid or Medicare?

    Sigh.

Funding a Catholic, or other religious school, does nothing with regard to establishing a religion.

Conway won't be around long. She's going to lose her shit in a very public and humiliating way.

A religious school in particular certainly does have a lot to do with establishing a religion.

Hospitals, drug treatment centers, food banks, maybe not so much.

But the whole idea of a Catholic school is to make more and better Catholics.

    No.

Not to mention, what's the first word you quoted? "Congress"

What does Congress have to do with localities providing parents with vouchers that could be used at the school of their choice?
