The fact that you choose to spend your efforts conflating minor inaccuracies from media outlets with intentional fabrications from elected officials says so, so much about your character.

    I used to think this.

But, @Buck and I decided to have kids in our late 40's. WTF!

Will be working till I die I suppose.

    FAKE NEWS.

The US hasn't funded abortions overseas since the Helms Amendment was passed in 1973. All Trump did was make merely discussing abortion as an option - but not paying for it - illegal by any group receiving a single dime of US funds for any reason.

Trump beat what was described as the best class of Republican candidates.

Jeb! had money, the resume, and the name. (OK, the name hurt him.)

There were sitting governors in the race, and others who had run previously. It was a good field.

Then he beat the former first lady, SoS, and NY Senator, who spent more than him, had been running for President for 25 years, and who had scared off almost all Democratic opposition.

Additionally, she would have been the first female president, which should have fired up the base, and she had the strong support of the popular, sitting president, and the benefit of a mildly strong economy.

For Trump to win was not predicted, and was not a cakewalk.

He had a much tougher road than Obama did. Period!

You call them minor. What makes them minor? They are trumpeted out as big news.

TRUMP REMOVED THE BUST OF MKL!!!!! Michael Flynn broke the law in his contact with the Russian ambassador and is under FBI investigation.

Video of Trump watching Russian hookers pissing on a bed in Moscow is out there.

Video of trump saying the "N" word is out there.

    Melania was a hooker.

This shit adds up. And, the mistakes never benefit Trump.

But, a Trump official says something wrong, and you call it an intentional fabrication. That's absurd.

Even Conway's "alternate fact" line was misconstrued.

Fact: Trump won the election. Alternate fact: Clinton won the popular vote.

They're both true. Conway was simply pointing out that the media wants to focus on one set of facts, and wants to ignore other -- alternate if you will -- facts.

And, we haven't even gotten to this junk science, fake news story yet. The modern and medieval literature expert* doesn't seem to know a lot about science:

*She is a doctoral candidate in the joint program in comparative literature and film and media at Yale. She graduated summa cum laude from Harvard and received a master’s degree in modern and medieval literatures from Cambridge in England.

We should pitch our own reality series:
    'Bad Decisions.'

    TLC would go for that.

Spicer had claimed that it was the biggest crowd ever for an inauguration, which was not true, so he admitted to being full of shit.

His own spokespeople, on Day Fucking 2 of their administration, said that they found media coverage "Demoralizing" and that they were using "Alternative Facts."

About the attendance at the inauguration. Not something major, like a war, or a recession. About inauguration attendance. And they complained about media coverage on Day Fucking 2. Not halfway through the term, or three quarters of the way. Day Fucking 2.

No media members made them make those statements. No media members held a gun to their heads and told them to say what they said. They chose to do so themselves, and lack the courage to take personal responsibility for them. Instead, it's the media's fault they can't control themselves.

They have four long years (at least), and they're going to be dealing with all sorts of issues and crisises on an every-day basis. Some of it is going to be major, and some of it will be bullshit. And you know what? They can't complain about every bit of bullshit that they have to deal with. They, and their party brought it upon themselves with how they treated Trump's predecessor.

And if they can't handle a bullshit thing like inauguration attendance without having a meltdown, how the fuck are they going to handle a major crisis?
