I had to watch my Wahoos on WatchESPN because they couldn't find a station willing to show (in HD) the game between the 12th- and 14th-ranked teams in the country. (Note: I can walk out my front door and be at John Paul Jones Arena in 80 minutes.) So I was stuck with the app.

At the beginning of the game, I was excited for Kentucky-Kansas. By the end, I had seen that overly serious commercial so many times I never wanted to hear about either team again. Other things gradually ruined for me last night: the NBA, Lil' Jon, Irish-Americans.

What the hell was up with Louisville beating Pittsburgh by 55 at Pitt? Holy hell.

Welcome to the life of an FSU alum.

Top 10 matchup ... Duke at FSU - ACC Network
Top 15 matchup ... ND at FSU - ACC Network and RSN

In fact, only the Louisville and UNC games have been widely televised during the Noles' 4-1 Top 25 matchup run. Lots of NC State and Syracuse games, though.

I've heard they are keeping some of these games off ESPN to try to build up demand for when the ACC Network launches. Rumor is they are having a difficult time convincing cable and satellite providers to pay a $1.30 a subscriber for yet another sports channel.

    Two things:

    (1) Jaime Dixon's recruiting was absolutely awful his last four years, and it showed in the record.

    (2) Kevin Stallings probably isn't a good fit.

Didn't they stick Carolina-Duke on either ESPN2 or ESPNU when it first launched to build demand for the channel?

Talked to my sources at KU and I'm 99.9 percent sure nobody on the team is a suspect. This is similar to when police at UVA interviewed players following the disappearance of Morgan Harrington.

Georgia Tech absolutely laying waste to FSU. This is the one conference where all the cliches about no nights off applies.

It's crazy how many of these ACC teams are losing by 50 some nights and beating conference heavyweights others.
