I thought economic anxiety got him elected, not shenanigans on a message board.

Was in the parking lot in the wife's car today and turned the radio on during his press session with the British PM (wife's an NPR listener). I was struck by how relatively even-tempered he came across even as he, in answering questions about Mexico, used phrases like "ripping us off." Definitely a strange mix.

Uncle Jack will be representing President Trump in the defamation suit.

The "if they had any guts at all" call only seems to be applied to one's opponent.

Bill Clinton spoke of a wall in the 90's.

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, and other top Dems voted for one in 2006.

What is so offensive about a wall/fence/barrier being a part of enhanced border control?

If Dems want Republicans to go along with "comprehensive immigration reform" there is going to have to be a physical barrier along much of the Southern border for it to happen.

Nah. Didn't Milbank question Hillary Clinton's mental health after she claimed to have landed in Bosnia under sniper fire?

Because it's a boondoggle that doesn't address the problem, just like early Daylight Savings Time doesn't address energy consumption.

Trump’s border wall doesn’t address key shift in crossings

But it's an actual physical barrier.

All other means of border enforcement can be changed by the next administration.

There is no trust that Dems will effectively enforce the border.

In some areas -- where the landscape is foreboding enough -- a wall might not be necessary.

But combined with other measures, a wall is an important part of enforcing the border, and letting folks know that we take border security seriously.

Did you read the story, or is this another "if Trump likes it, I like it too" moment?

Better build one along the northern border too, to let folks know we take border security seriously.
