Will never forget his death in Alien.

 

Loved how he came back to reprise that scene in "Spaceballs." RIP to an excellent actor.

 

The one from Mississippi was better.

 

I think only Kenny has died more times.

 

I think this is about the Mississippi version, but still a great song.

First time I recall taking notice of John Hurt was when he played Caligula in "I, Claudius," a repulsive role in which he was absolutely riveting.

Then he did a complete 180 as a downtrodden lifer in the Turkish prison in "Midnight Express."

Truly, one of the great actors of our time.
