As a relatively recent journalism grad, I disagree. Have some media institutions succumbed to our society's desire for immediacy over quality? I would agree. But I think you're projecting the culpability of the average media consumer, primarily led by cost and their biases, onto journalism schools to play into the idea of a biased, liberal media.

Does the number of fatal terror attacks carried out by Muslim immigrants from the seven countries justifiy even the slightest bit of alarm? Like voter fraud, this is an issue that exists only in the minds of fearful, cowardly right wingers and is unsupported by evidence or facts.
