That's the thing, he didn't really hide in that zone. His length at the top of it played havoc with teams. For the short time he was in college he was a great defensive player.

62 points and 0 assists is still my favorite stat line of all time.

Notice the Ws bench reaction before the shot went in. They already knew.

A note on Carmelo. I wouldn't have him on my team, but I don't think he should be denounced for moral reasons. His game is profoundly limited. He can score like the dickens, and can't do anything else. Since scoring is important, he's been made a star when role player is really his destiny. If he was on a good team where he could be instant offense off the bench like Vinnie Johnson was, he'd be valuable. But of course, his status as a superstar keeps his ego from seeing that. Sad all around.

The Curry we've seen the past two seasons is back -- or at least he was tonight. He has 43 points after 3, multiple 3s from about 27 feet (plus the half-court shot) and surely won't play the 4th. Also had 9 rebounds and six assists. So much fun to watch.

How bad has this game become? Van Gundy and Jackson are talking about the Pro Bowl skills competition.

I love the fact the on a night when Curry goes off for 43 the rest of the team goes for 101 which still was more than what the Clips put up. Curry's 43 were just icing on the cake. I don't know why but I find that remarkable.

A man's got to know his limitations.

Well, you know, they signed Kevin Durant. They should be scoring 200 a game.
