Bell's Roundhouse, from a trade with a buddy last weekend. Good, but not as good as Hopslam which I think I'm going to buy this weekend.

Just polished off a Manhattan while watching the Rockets and 76ers. Heavenly, as always. Had a glass of cabarnet at an Italian restaurant over dinner, as well.

 

Of the Hopslam, not the Roundhouse, right? Missed out today, although place I went to said they should get more. My buddy said he should be able to get a 6 pack.

Right now Scarlet Knight, a red ale from Demented Brewing Co. in Middlesex, NJ, a few minutes from Rutgers. It's decent.

 

Unpopular opinion, I'm sure, but I think Hopslam is horribly overrated, especially at its price point. At one time, it was worth the hype. But it's not anything any better than I can get at a couple of breweries in town here.

To clarify: I think Hopslam is a fine, if not very good beer. But I think the hype for it is a little over the top.

Also, drinking a Double Falcon Smash IPA from Triple Crossing. Delicious.

 

Jameson's on the rocks right now. Am having turkey and black bean chili for dinner, and I'll have a Modelo Especial for that. I prefer a lighter beer for chili.

 

I expected your drink of choice to be Die In A Fireball.

 

I don't care for Fireball. Here's the deal, buddy. Hate begets hate. You got some thrown back in your face and you don't care for it. I suppose I could give a nice liberal spiel about empathy, but I'll stick with tough shit.

 

Either one of y'all is going to have to kill the other or you're going to have to confine this to the politics thread because none of us deserve this shit splashed across the rest of the board.
