   I'll be honest, I didn't expect him to actually do any of the shit he promised, which is why I voted for him. Boy is there egg on my face now though.

   My brother in law has been working as an auditor in NYC for the past couple years on a green card. He can't leave the country now bc he might not be let back in. These things affect people and it sucks

More seriously Dixie, it's just like the end of the Soviet Union. It fell because the armed forces were unwilling to shoot the citizens they were supposed to protect. If that holds here, there will be no tyranny. If not, well, we're fucked anyway, and if it wasn't Trump it'd be some other scumbag. I know many members of the armed forces, and I'll bet the former alternative for now.
