Damn it, now we're back to taking Trump's tweets literally and seriously!?!

Many outlets reported over the weekend that two NSC members were effectively demoted from the big boys' table. I think I heard Spicer say those reports were false and that he displayed side-by-side papers to prove his point. I only heard on radio while driving. Is this what transpired today?

If Spicer is right, is this simple laziness by the media who reported a difference? Is there, in fact, a difference in documents?

 

And why is SecDef doing this, other than he's the only sane adult the rest will listen to or prefer not to fight?

 

Everything in center should shift further left (except Guardian & Wall Street Journal) and a Communist section should be added at far left. Liberal should be relabeled Socialist because that is the liberal end game.

 

Trump is going to create jobs, jobs, jobs ... in the foreign service after he fired the shit out of a whole buncha people.

The Director of National Intelligence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff shall attend where issues pertaining to their responsibilities and expertise are to be discussed. The Counsel to the President, the Deputy Counsel to the President for National Security Affairs, and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget may attend all PC meetings."

DNI and Chair of JCS were previously regular attendees for everything. They have pushed out about 85 years of experience and institutional memory, plus all the resources at the command of these two, unless they decide they want to allow them to enter the clubhouse.

Also, Bannon has been put into it. Counsel to the President has never been a member and has seldom attended. David Axelrod did for a while, but he attended as a visitor.

I would add that Spicer said yesterday that Bannon was added because his experience as a naval officer made him a valuable analyst. I'm not sure how that counterbalances the removal of the DNI, who has thousands of professional intelligence analysts working for him full time.
