    My thoughts on the Rumble.

-- Only match I watched on the pre-show was the tag title bout, and it's about damn time they put the belts on The Club. Never really liked Sheamus and Cesaro's pairing, because it's been done a million and one times before, so I was glad to see them lose. Hopefully it means they split up and Cesaro gets a push.

-- Kinda surprised they had Charlotte win clean. Only dastardly thing Charlotte did was grab the ropes for leverage on the Figure 8.

-- Not sure they point of the shark cage if they were going to have someone interfere. Overall, though, that match was better than I thought it would be.

-- Is "Fuck Roman Reigns" the new "Beat up John Cena?"

-- Cena-Styles ... my gosh, what a match. Cena has definitely stepped up his game lately, and I was impressed with some of the moves he hit last night. Hated seeing Styles lose, but the double FU at the end was a nice touch.

-- I love heel Neville. That guy is a legit badass, and the chemistry he and Swann displayed last night was amazing. Those two aren't -- hopefully -- done with each other. I'd love to see them in a match at Mania again.

-- The Rumble. What a clusterfuck of a match. Thought Strowman would win, and they made him look strong with seven or however many eliminations. Thought they were going to have him shatter Reigns' record, which would have added to the monster mystique they're building with him.

Fuck Roman Reigns. Disappointed they had him No. 30.

Taker appearing in the middle of the ring was, IMHO, awesome. I don't care how old that guy is, Taker is one guy I will always mark out for. I thought he looked good, though the spear he took from Goldberg was very bad.

Goldberg eliminating Brock after Brock destroyed a few people was just plain stupid. At least let them do the tango for a while before one of them eliminates the other. You're making the beast incarnate look like shit.

Who did the Miz piss off? Seemed he took a finisher/signature move from everyone last night.

Orton winning was a pleasant surprise, made even better because it wasn't Reigns. But what happens next? I'm with you guys -- no way should it be Orton-Cena again. That rivalry, while one time fun and intriguing, should be left on the shelf.

I can see them having Cena drop the title in the Chamber to Bray, and then the dissension among the Wyatt Family starts. Orton starts playing mind games with Bray because he has the title shot in his back pocket, and Bray gets pissed and turns on Orton. Hopefully Orton will do what's best for business and put Bray over, if they go that direction.

But it's a murky mess right now. Hopefully they'll start sorting shit out tonight and tomorrow.

Also: Big Show, Taker, Henry and Bray -- and a few others -- were driven to the ring on a golf cart.

They couldn't decorate it like a wrestling ring or something? Sheesh.

Not surprised about the golf cart, though. The announcers were joking about one of the early Rumble entrants taking a long time to get to the ring even though he was sprinting, and they remarked that it was 65 yards from the stage to the ring.

    Yep. Exactly.

Heenan also told a funny story in one of his books about Vince telling Andre about the cart. Andre, not in the best of moods, or just stirring shit up, said he might just flip the cart over for the hell of it. Vince tries to convince him not to by saying he could hurt the guy driving it. Andre said he didn't care.

As they go,out, a worried Vince tells Heenan,"Watch him." Heenan replied that that was all he could do, since there was no way in hell anyone would be able to stop him.

Funny stuff tonight on Raw with Cesaro wearing Bayley's tassels and Sheamus looking at her blow-up people like he's wondering what the fuck he's doing there.

    Two thoughts watching/listening to Raw:
    1) Branding yourself "King of the Cruiserweights" is a little like loudly proclaiming your status as the tallest midget, isn't it?
    2) It wasn't all that long ago that "The Queen of Pay Per View" would've had an entirely different meaning than the way Charlotte is using it.

You know Reigns is interfering in this, but I like how they just had Strowman destroy Jericho even before the match starts.
