For one thing, who could tell who were moderate Syrian rebels and who weren't? One group that may seem moderate may end up becoming more radicalized.

After that, then you're talking about sending our troops in. This is what you do all the time. You want to send other parents' kids into useless costly wars while you sit at home and complain about your taxes are too high because of teacher salaries.

Actually, this is the only thing he could do that wouldn't humiliate the guy he does pick. This little show is another of his debasement moves, showing the Justice to be is willing to do Trump's bidding. It may be why William Pryor, the other of the three contenders, took his name off the board. Had a little self-respect.

Oh you'd find a way to defend it.

Maybe they could bring in Piers Morgan and Omarosa to help out.

    A. The Obama administration had identified what they considered to be moderate rebels. Hadn't they? At one point, military leaders were defecting to the rebels, and there was a chance to topple Assad. We didn't help at all. And, this was before ISIS had grown into what they have become (while we "watched").

    2. I didn't say anything about ground troops. A no fly zone wouldn't have required ground troops. Strikes on ISIS convoys would have required no ground troops.

    C. Working with Turkey to close off their border to Syria would have required no ground troops.

Going by recent experience, he probably plans to fire an Obama appointee and name both. That would be boffo ratings.
