Does anyone believe a SCOTUS nominee is going to drive by himself from Pittsburgh to the WH the day his nomination was to be announced?

They got the story wrong.

It's a reporter's job to know what sources they can trust. If they're not good at this, then the reporter doesn't deserve our trust.

 

Uh, I did mock the suggestion that because he was driving East, he was headed to D.C.

When reporters still insisted that he was in not only D.C., but the White House itself, I assumed they had some confirmation.

 

So Fox News doesn't deserve our trust for reporting the Quebec City mosque shooter was from Morocco.

 

and leaving it up after it was confirmed to be false?

I think officials at the White House intentionally misled several outlets. The White House doesn't deserve our trust.
