That Trump didn't comply is besides the point.

The media are as unwilling to apologize when they are wrong as Trump is.

 

Don't you think a "shock event" would have gone further? People lost their shit because it's Trump, and because it was so poorly executed, but it was a travel ban imposed on seven very unstable states. I can see where that felt reasonable. These guys aren't the masterminds people are crediting them with being.

 

This is increasingly parody, not accuracy.

 

IF the media are ever "wrong," it's not on purpose. They mean well.

Cabinet nominees not subject to filibuster. They can be slowed but not stopped by Senate procedure. This tweet indicates to me it's not from somebody up on how Washington works, which I guess could make it more authentic.

 

That's never been my point. My point is that I don't care if they are simply wrong or lying. It's virtually unknowable. And, for the record, I never accuse Trump of lying, either.
