7:44 in the morning reading this thread, and I have a hankering for a couple burritos and a taco burger right about now.

Can also make a good Cincinnati-style hot dog chili with that approach ... the beef is simmered (basically braised) rather than browned. Follow that approach and season, per 1 lb. of beef, with 1 TBSP of chili powder and 1 TSP of cumin.

It's just a binding agent, right?

You can't say the words Cincinnati and Chili without this........

I do mine with sour cream, tabasco, jalapenos and black olives on top though.

Is that chili or a cheese bomb?

Love me some Taco John's. A six-pack and a pound of Potato Ole's would hit the spot right now. Of course, I'd need a 10-hour nap after that.

My all-time favorite is Taco Bueno, though. The in-house salsa bar is ridiculous.

Had a best friend in high school who worked at TT. He didn't have a car, but I did. So most weekends I would pick him up after his late shift. I would give him a dollar and he would make me a gargantuan burrito. Our partying for a while waa subsidized by a little "creative accounting" on his part.

Skyline coneys are delicious and underrated.
