I think that's what exactly happened. It looked really awkward when Joe went to put the Coquina Clutch on Rollins.

Damn tho, dude can not catch a break.

Although, it COULD be a work, since Joe tweeted out saying he "got the job done."

It's no work btw. Rollins sent out a bunch of stuff on Twitter just now.

I doubt it's a work, because if it was, Joe would have been doing moves to the knee and Seth would have been selling it afterward (like Sasha and Nia are doing).

What they will do, though, is incorporate it in the storyline when Rollins returns.

Hopefully it's not major. If he were to blow out his knee twice in two years ... ugh

    Observer from Feb. 6:

    - Rollins tore the MCL in his right knee, and he’s believed to be out eight weeks. This would put him right on the edge for being able to go at Mania. The original plan was Joe vs. Rollins at Fastlane, and then Rollins vs. Triple H at Mania. However, WWE has been more cautious with injured guys returning early, because of their legal cases.

    - For Mania, WWE is leaning toward Goldberg vs. Lesnar for the universal title, with Lesnar over at Mania, leading to a Reigns or Strowman program after Mania. Reigns vs. Taker is planned, but Taker is in bad shape and needs hip replacement surgery, which he’s been putting off until after he's actually retired. Other matches: Wyatt vs. Orton for the title, Jericho vs. Owens, John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse, Big Show vs. Shaq, and a four-way between Charlotte, Bayley, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks.

    - Kenny Omega is believed to be going back to New Japan on a one-year deal. He’s open to a future WWE deal though, specifically mentioning Styles as someone he’d like to wrestle again.

    - Brian Pillman Jr., 23, is looking to get into pro wrestling. He was a good football player, but didn’t play college. He was 3 when Brian died.

    - Kyle O’Reilly is likely going to sign with WWE. He turned down $85,000 a year from ROH.

    - CM Punk wants another UFC fight, but an opponent hasn’t been approved. If he isn’t offered one soon, he’ll probably be released and go to Bellator.

    - WWE is contacting past women wrestlers for some sort of angle at Mania.

    - Foley’s health insurance was approved, so he’ll be getting a hip replacement. He’s expected to miss six weeks, so they could go in another direction for GM.

    - Nigel McGuinness has replaced Corey Graves on NXT, because Graves is busy with other shows now.

    - Phil Savage, the executive director of the Senior Bowl, sends a list of guys he thinks won’t have pro careers, but could be good wrestlers, to Jim Ross each year. It’s believed Ross then gives the list to Gerry Briscoe.

    - Finn Balor had a medical evaluation last weekend and wasn’t cleared yet, but he was never in the plans for the Rumble.

I believe that card would be one of the worst Manias of all time

They're just begging for a disaster if they put Gasberg in the main event, for the title.

Also, where the fuck does A.J. Styles fit in there? A midcard throwaway match with Ambrose?

He was the only high card guy without a dance partner. Could do him vs. Cena again, or Ambrose, or the oft-rumored Shane McMahon match. (Ugh.)

That's gotta be a troll job, right? Who on Earth thinks almost any of that is a good idea? Did they watch a 6-year-old playing with his WWE action figures to come up with that card?
Wyatt-Orton for the title and Jericho-Owens would be good. Seems like we're heading that way as it is.
Reigns-Undertaker would be underwhelming, but that is what it is at this point.
But Goldberg-Lesnar for the title? The nostalgia pop is supposed to be a good thing, not bring back reminders of Wrestlemania 20. Plus, they seem to be headed in another direction with Owens and the title, none of which involves the belt winding up on Lesnar or Goldberg.
    No Strowman, Styles or Ambrose?
Who did Cena and Miz piss off to go from being champions in January to a mid-card mixed tag match in April?
The road map doesn't quite match up with the destination.
