I just looked it up on Wikipedia.
I'm not sure how much I can believe in the quality of Mexican food developed by a white guy in Kansas in 1962.

There's just something about it. It's fantastic.

If I am near one, I will try it.
I've been to Ohio a long, long time ago, but that was Cleveland area.
If I am ever near Cincinnati, I will definitely try Skyline or Gold Star, even though I am skeptical about spaghetti and chili together.
It's one of those things, though. You should try local and regional foods and customs when opportunities arise.

So if I am ever around a Taco Tico, I will try it.

Now, to be fair to Taco Tico......if you do ever get the chance......go in with the notion of you're going to eat a 2 dollar burrito.........not something extravagant. It's like eating a cheeseburger from McDonalds and thinking it's going to taste like a filet from Ruth's Chris.

    Vastly overrated.

Perhaps the only thing we'll ever agree upon.

    Understood.
I live in an area that abounds with Mexican restaurants, but I'm always skeptical of the places that bill themselves as 'restaurants.'
I prefer my Mexican food here from a truck, cart or taqueria.

Best Mexican food I've had in the past decade is in a Virginia town of about 6,000 people.
