    It was a good rule.

    Coal companies have buried about 2,000 miles of Appalachian streams. It's an ecological disaster. And, frankly, the rule could be sold as a job creator. Without it, companies can just hire one bulldozer operator to shove all the refuse into a gulley. The rule require them to keep a 100-foot buffer around streams to protect riparian areas and the water flowing downstream and rebuild damaged areas - which requires more American workers.

    I have, though not lately. Became a Master Chef guy when I accidentally met two of the contestants one night in San Diego. Also been watching Worst Cooks because my old radio show producer in Richmond was one of the contestants this year.

    The last couple of seasons of Top Chef weren't that good but this year has been very good.

    And yeah, we watch Worst Cooks, too. And Celebrity Worst Cooks.
