Such as - just spitballing here - justifying the travel ban?

"It's easily disproved" doesn't seem to be much of a reason for this administration to stop lying or lie better.

Who would warn POTUS and Bannon not to celebrate the death of some Muslim kid?

For the record, I don't think that she lied. I think that, speaking off the cuff, she got it into her head that there had been a Bowling Green Massacre. Point is, YF, people make mistakes, and it isn't always because they are bald-faced lying.

But it was a "mistake" that fit her preconceived ideas about Muslims.

    Previously on SJ.com ...

Dick is the one who makes people cry. This time it was the other way around. Peanut gallery chimed in with thoughtful opinions.

    I denounce it all.

I say reporters consciously write stories to fit a particular narrative.

You say they do it subconsciously, because of their world view.

The difference between the two is small, and neither is an excuse for shoddy journalism.

When you have to explain a joke, it loses its power. But for the historical record:

    1. Making people cry: Joke.

    2. PMs from prominent posters: Joke.

    3. Scottie Pippen playing on Arkansas' national championship team: Joke.

    I believe Kellyanne believes it.

Which disqualifies her from the position.
