You always want your president to officially acknowledge specific threats, then do nothing. It's the thought that counts.

 

No it's not. He believes it will allow more lending, more investment, and more jobs.

Other than far lefties, folks don't care if rich folks do well, as long as they are providing jobs.

YF's opinion is highly debatable. The message that Trump is letting Wall Street rip you off after he said he wouldn't has punch. People don't care about graft in the abstract, never have. But if they think it's their money, they get touchy. The economy is moving forward at the pace Trump voters denied last year and will embrace this year. That's good for him. All he needs to do is avoid disruptions like, oh I dunno, a trade war or 20 million losing their health insurance.

It's not the people at the top that bothers the average person, it's the (in their view) dipshit two or three levels above them in management they really can't stand.

 

Abortions for some, sub-prime loans for others.
