President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

I want to read in a history book someday that a Melissa McCarthy SNL skit or an 84 Lumber Super Bowl commercial made the President of the United States change his entire outlook on his presidency.

I just want that to be a fact that exists.

 

"Steve? Steve? Did you use magic ink on this executive order that became visible the moment I signed it? Did you do that, Steve?"

 

Great businessmen like The Donald have people to read documents for him. He shouldn't have to read anything. That's what the lawyers are for.

 

A lot of republicans are rightfully criticizing Trump for his comments about Putin.

But it cracks me up to see Dems complaining about Trump not believing in American Exeptionalism or making moral equivalency arguments.

Do we not remember Obama talking about Greek exceptionalism, or referring to things like the Crusades or our racial problems?

 

Who didn't see this post coming? The lock really built up the anticipation.

 

Trump reams America worse than any president in our history. Obama, Clinton, anyone.

Trump is the furthest thing from Reagan imaginable. Truly!

 

I have no idea how McCarthy didn't break character. Holy shit, that was amazing.

 

At least he admitted that Trump deserves to be criticized. That seems like progress.

 

Yet, I don't recall Obama shirking the responsibilities (morally, financially and militarily) that come along with being the most powerful nation on earth and leader of the free world. Trump is an international embarrassment and growing threat to stability.
