Never been much of a fan, but you and I are in pretty much the same place. I just get sick of his little constipated frown and pursed lips.

I haven't paid any attention to Olbermann since he self-imploded at MSNBC. But just imagine how insane Olbermann would drive Trump if he had as big a platform. Trump would melt Twitter.

Olbermann is sometimes amusing, but then he impales himself on the nearest rusty spike.

Also, Hillary Clinton is not running for president again. I will run and bake cookies for the entire nation before Hillary runs again. Not happening.

So republicans would be so offended by the mere fact that he ran against Trump that they'd stop using Amazon?

I hadn't paid a ton of attention to his laugh but since you brought it up, is that something you look at? Peoples laughs?

Checking back into Facebook this afternoon, I came across some recent posts from the wife of one of my high-school classmates. My classmate and this woman -- both pretty overt Evangelicals -- have three sons, the youngest with Down Syndrome. My classmate's wife has shared some very touching moments these last few years regarding this or that person in their life reaching out to him/them.

Anyway, the posts I ran across today were of this woman raising absolute holy hell ... because Belk dropped the Ivanka line this past week.

You've got to be fucking kidding me.

One more reason to not watch the Belk Bowl.

The Washington Post had a pretty big spread on him the other day, seemingly out of nowhere and possibly paid for. It was all about him as the emerging "voice" of the left.

The first thing I thought is, "Great, both sides being Breitbart-ized is exactly what we need."

I really admire the work that Franklin Graham has done through Samaritan's Purse. I have friends/acquaintances from my time in that area who are active in that mission.

I despise his incarnation as a Trump toady.

Oh horseshit. She's no further left than Obama, who won twice by huge margins.

Are you aware that Warren mostly voted Republican until the mid-90s? This is something she readily admits. And she didn't switch sides because she had some dramatic change in ideology, instead she switched because the Republican party turned nutso after the mid-90s. This idea that Warren is some Bernie-style socialist ultra-left winger is a huge misconception. There's nothing radical in what she advocates, in fact much of it is the sort of thing Republicans once supported.

Personally, I hope Warren does run. It's about time this country had its first female leader--but the dems nominated entirely the wrong choice for the role in Hillary--they can made amends for that blunder next time around.

I'll admit to not being in touch with Warren's past prior to her emerging as a major party voice over the last several years. So I'll take your word for that. Sounds like you know a lot more than I do.

The problem is that's the way she's perceived. And that's pretty hard to overcome. Perhaps she can. And perhaps she'll win.

But a big part of me is hoping for a fresh face who can meld the currently warring factions of the party.

The Democrats could put freaking Joe Manchin up there, and the Republicans will paint him as a flaming tree-hugging granola muncher.
