The son is a victim, but that's no excuse for his behavior.

 

Not genetically. But those who were abused are more likely to become abusers.

 

No, but people who are abused (as Sandusky's son was) are more likely to commit abuse.

 

I get cycle of abuse as it relates, for example, to domestic violence. But in this case it requires an extra element beyond just abuse--sexual attraction to kids--to pass down. That's the part that seems so bizarre to me.

 

I wonder if Scott Paterno turned a blind eye to this just like his Daddy.
