Wilt, I imagine, still holds scoring records not in the book ;)

Its so hard to compare between eras, Russell was a great winner, 2 NCAAs then 11 with the Celtics, but for me rather than "dilution" of talent with more teams and players, I think it was tougher to win with more teams.

I only saw Wilt when he was almost done (say him on the '72 Lakers and beyond); so Kareem was the most dominant player I ever saw. I don't think the MJ Bulls have an answer for him, even with the '75(?) Bucks.

MJ was my favorite but I was in awe of Kareem (dude was a 7'4" guy who took ballet when he was a kid!; amazing footwork).

As for Magic and Larry, I love how them brought great passing back into the game (although the Bullets and the Sonics passed too, but no electric superstars.)

However, nowadays, with the 3, the Warriors dominate at times even when giving up easy buckets because they come down and with Curry/Klay/Durant hit open 3s and the net is +1. Plus there's no hand-checking nowadays.

IMHO if you start with one player, I'm going Kareem.

They had Scott bring it up sometimes if they wanted to run Magic off a screen or something. Nobody in the NBA ever presses so they could have had Kareem bring it up if they wanted to.

When Wilt's claim about women hit the papers, local talk show host and former Celtics' announcer Glenn Ordway said, "same old Wilt, still hung up on individual stats."

I would note in playfulness that the Warriors are 46-9 and need to end the season on a 27-game win streak to match the Bogut/Barnes era ... but that discussion has lost some steam. #FreeDickWhitman

You may want to turn the game back on ... bench has cut the lead to 11.

I'M PI.....nah, they just went through the Grizz/OKC grinder on a B2B, then have to go to Denver in altitude? No biggie. They answered the questions about CLE/HOU/MEM/OKC/CLIPS. Their 4 games up on SA and cruising. Plus, like I told my buddy tonight, let's not forget when Mookie and Vonteego Cummings were in the backcourt.

But they have to go 27-0 the rest of the way to tie the record.
