Yea, this show is meh.

Their moms will be logging in to tell us they try just as hard as everyone else.

 

What is Jemele Hill's background? Has she always worked at ESPN? I like her style.

 

Was also Orlando Sentinel columnist for a time before ESPN.

 

It seems like they could become the Joe and Mika of sports - a must-watch that sets the tone every day if you're into sports.

 

I had to google Michael Smith to make sure I hadn't had him confused with Michael Holley, whose War Room is one of the better football books I've read.
Apologies to Michael Holley for the insulting association.

 

I don't understand the need for a 6 p.m. SportsCenter and never have. There's very little live sports on weekday afternoons to report on. Michael Smith has no presence at all. I like Jemele, but Smith has no charisma, isn't quick witted and lacks a sense of humor. His success has always escaped me.

Why do people keep saying Mike has no charisma. He's got an abundance of it. As does Jemele.

I've seen 4 of the 6 episodes. It's not great but it's not bad but it's got potential. Few things I like, few things I wish they'd scrap.
