Funny thing, from Bryan's book, the E wanted to do more stuff with the Dr. Shelby actor because he was so good. But the guy is a drama professor at a college and couldn't get away to do more storylines.

I can live the rest of my life without seeing another suicide dive. Holla.

 

My problem with them is that they've become way too commonplace. I see it multiple times on Raw in one night. Zayn, Rollins, the cruiserweights, the women. Everyone's diving out of the ring. It used to be a special thing. No more.

The same with the superkicks. I used to love them, with Chris Adams and HBK. Now, everyone does them, multiple times in a match.

 

Just watch the video of Lita nearly breaking her neck about 100 times, and that'll wean you off of suicide dives.

Or "he who shall not be named" ...

 

To be fair, Chris Benoit referred to his as a "murder-suicide dive."

Why not throw in the Real Americans and make it a tag team triple threat match?
