He closed with "It's a great honor to be with you." I thought the media was all lying and dishonest.

Who trips up next, Trump or Grayson Allen?

I've posted this before, but If I'm Bannon I get Trump in front of crowds every weekend in different parts of the country.

Go to Ryan's District first. Mark your territory.

His supporters will love this and Trump will feed off them.

They're currently tied at 11 consecutive games apiece.

I don't know how anybody could have watched that mess and come away thinking "Yep, Trump has it all under control. He's really going to Make America Great Again."

How many times have we been presented with a Trump "moment," and the same people come away from it saying he's great? Won't get fooled again.

Never in my life have I seen two groups so absolutely convinced that the other side is just totally full of shit.

He is unhinged. He isn't focused on governing. He is focused on himself.

The problem for him is that he is now the man. He is still trying to convince everyone he won. ... except he is the man. He can't keep running against the media or Hilary Clinton or Obama. The time on that ran out today.

Also, he is still running a campaign. Promises and signing pieces of paper are not accomplishments. Other politicians' bullshit came with specifics. Disastrous specifics, but they knew they had to do something or else people would turn on them. His time without specifics is going to run out -- he has a month or two more before it's done. And there are no specifics, because he is not the Jesus he sold himself as. Any specifics are going to run into huge debt loads, a debt ceiling that is expiring again in a month and entitlements that are on the brink of swallowing us up.

Also, the worse his approval ratings get, and the less he is able to get done because no one is going to want to tie themselves to him, the more unhinged he is going to get. So get used to what you saw today.

He's a bullshit artist and a narcissist, so he thinks he can just grab a microphone and change perception. But he's an idiot. It's just going to get worse from here -- if you don't see a major unraveling quickly, it is going to be a slow-moving trainwreck.

I am embarrassed to be an American.

He's still standing. Where is the proof that he can't ride it out like this, the good of the country be damned?

If you're standing in a group of 10 Americans, three of those people think he's aces.

As long as Trump's base thinks he hates non-white people as much as they do, they'll never leave him. But he's not starting from a large base of support. He can't afford to lose many of his voters who chose him because of party loyalty, not because they liked him, especially college-educated whites and married suburban white women. If they turn on him, he's in for sub 40 approval ratings and a GOP 2018 election full of misery for them.
PS: Shottie, he hasn't been President for a month yet. This is the honeymoon, and he's going off the rails. It's not whether he retains support from his fans, it's if he can hold the job without a true mental breakdown. He obviously hates the work, because he won't do it.

I hope to God I'm wrong, but he's not going anywhere. He won't be impeached and he sure won't resign. He will lie, obfuscate, throw everyone under the bus, stall, accuse, make shit up, scream "fake news," you name it. We are stuck with him. We are fucked for the next four years.

A lot of bad shit can go down between now and the 2018 midterms.
