With a schedule of events that aggressive, you would need three or four cops at minimum.

So, why doesn't it say it was rejected by Kelly or Trump?

I've rejected things in the past that never got to my boss.

I hate what I'm about to write, but:

Just because his name is on it doesn't mean he's seen it. Depending on who wrote the memo, it could have to go through potentially three or four other reviews before it even gets to the secretary. Then, he might revise it a few times before signing it.

Reporting that he signed it, if he indeed had not, is a huge botch by AP.

The administration's denial is still ridiculous, though. The fact that the memo even exists is clear evidence it was being "considered" at some point.

If the memo had gone out, it would have gone out under Kelly's name. That doesn't mean Kelly wrote, or rejected it.

This is an alternative reality, KellyAnne.

You are trying to conflate a whole lot of issues here and label the story "false."

There was a memo circulating in the White House, from Homeland Security, considering mobilization of National Guard troops to round up undocumented immigrants. It's fact.

The real Presbyterian version would be "forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors ..."

I find it to be a tad disturbing that this kind of thing is rolling around the halls of power.

I would expect most folks would?

YF, has Kelly denied authorship of that? If not, why not?

We hired some after we did the numbers on off-duty cops vs. private security firm. The cops - at least here - were cheaper. Admittedly, we don't run as many events (just Sundays, Wednesdays, Mothers Day Out and pre-K).

Would you point out to me where the AP claims the memo circulated in the White House?

The Trump Administration said it was rejected. To be rejected, it has to be considered.

    Stephen Miller probably wrote it.
