Wonder if that owner would have traded his gay tight end for Kaepernick.

I miss Songbird's daily update of the show.

I have zero interest in actually watching the show, but I liked his updates.

LOL, I was just thinking of Mike and Jemele -- err, Jemele and Mike -- on the elliptical ... how I missed the first 30 minutes last night and don't even remember the final 30 other than Scott Van Pelt was talking about something.

Oh, right, yeah, then they went into a comedy segment in a coffeeshop where Jemele meets up with beefcake black dude from what some say is a popular TV show and they drink coffee -- it's part of his character so it was part of this skit; very Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee-like -- and then Mike bops into the skit and cockblocks Jemele. I don't think they pulled the skit off very well although it looked like Jemele was really sweatin' the beefcake.

    Mike Colter is the actor.

Today they had a chat with an ESPN Insider reporter about Cousins. Didn't catch the writer's name but he's very good on camera.

They're doing skits? This is worse than I thought.

The promo where Jemele and Michael are dressed up as characters to announce the new show gives off the vibe of "no one else here in Bristol supports this decision", far different than all of the famous SC commercials of the last 20 years.

The discussions are pretty good when they're on-point and feature Insider-type reporters. They're still finding their footing for other components of the show.

Mike is pretty funny to watch when he gets all worked up over something. He went off on Manziel yesterday after Manziel said he hired his agent again and is getting looks from teams. He was a staunch supporter of Manziel during the college days cuz college kid gonna college kid but he's not having it with Manziel's repeated fits and starts in the NFL. Be gone, Manziel, and ain't never come back! was basically his message yesterday.

The show is like Goldilocks ... somewhere in the middle.
