"As many as 100,000 troops" in this case is like saying a baseball team is anticipating a successful season "with as many as 162 victories."

There's a case to be made for journalists' courage, but this is a bit over the top. Better analogy is journalists willing to work in war zones or embed with military units.

I think I'd go live with this one if I'm CNN or any other cable news channel because it's almost historic. It's the earliest officially designated campaign event known to man. But when he does this week after week -- and he will because being cheered by ranting racists is the only reason he sought the gig in the first place -- abstinence is the answer. That's gonna be tough for Fox News.

    Exactly.

By the time the memo got out -- and the AP was not the first to put it out -- people assumed the memo mentioned 100,000 troops. It didn't.

Yep. It is a most weird event. Why is he still doing campaign rallies after the campaign is over? Or is this considered the first one for 2020?

Perhaps it's just a ploy to avoid doing his actual job. He discovered the actual work of presidenting is no fun, but boy, those rallies sure were--the crowd adored me, chanted my name, told me how great I was--so let's just keep doing more of those...

Trump will go down as the POTUS with the most TV time. It's his oxygen.

MSNBC already said they'll cover it live. I'd expect FOX News and CNN will as well.

Everybody thought homosexuality and porn was going to be criminalized and now a man is going to get his cock sucked by thousands of people on live teevee.
