Btw, I finally saw this Milo character speak in this Bill Maher interview last night. I'll say this for him, Milo ain't boring--a flamboyantly gay jewish foreigner boasting about his black boyfriends becomes a hero to alt-right conservatives--how does that happen?

He wrote it back in October, during the campaign. Passions were high, there were some Republicans who did not like Trump as the candidate. I'm not sure why he would have thought that Carson would get a cabinet job under Trump.

I'm really not a compare-to-Hitler kinda guy, but aren't the rallies after he's been elected at least a little Hitler-y?

Wait ..so teachers don't appreciate being lectured on their inadequacies by someone who's never taught a day in her life, has zero public education experience, displayed embarrassing ignorance when questioned about education, and became their boss only because her immensely wealthy family essentially bought the job?

Gee, that wasn't foreseeable at all.

Seems like a very recent prez held numerous "rallies" after being elected.

This isn't a rally, it's a re-election campaign event. After less than a month in office.

It provides the convenient "I have plenty of flamboyantly gay jewish foreigner friends who boast about their black boyfriends" point of reference. "See, I don't live in a bubble!"

Isn't it more honest to bill it as a campaign event, and have the campaign pay for it, than to have him go dole out federal dollars at some event, with the local Congressperson, that is a campaign event in everything but name?

Yeah. He and his family seem extraordinarily concerned about cutting down on federal expenditures when traveling.
