NY Daily News reports that presidential aide Stephen Miller, who did not attend law school, called the US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York and dictated the defense of Trump's ttavel ban said Attorney was to use in court. Surprisingly, the defense was rejected. They're going to issue a new ban this week, and stuff like this just makes it so much easier for plaintiffs to argue administration is dealing with the law in bad faith.

 

Then why did she say it was "awesome?" You just posted something with no support or understanding because you thought it fit a narrative you want to tell, which is exactly why your whiny attacks on media standards are such a joke.

This is a district that was struggling and has shown improvement. The implementation of Common Core skewed test results all over. Would you like for me to explain that to you or would you prefer to wallow in your ignorance regarding education? It's okay if you don't understand. It goes back the difference between proficiency and growth, and we already know Betsy DeVos doesn't understand that, either. Maybe you two could get together and I'll have my 13-year-old daughter explain it to you both. She does a better job of it than DeVos did during her confirmation hearing.

Here's the thing. I'm not going to defend the school. My point was never that DeVos was right or wrong in her evaluation of the school, though her message was sloppy and her opinion completely lacking in evidence.

My point was that she is an easy target with no credibility and the fact that she took another spanking over this is proof that she makes the Trump administration look bad due to her lack of credibility. It isn't about policy. It is her resume and the lack of knowledge she has shown in public statements. It is about her plagiarizing the work of others while answering questions from Congress. All of that makes mistakes like the Tweet quoting Du Bois look even worse.

Now if you could actually dispute what I'm saying rather than try to latch on to a tangent for once, that would be a fantastic change of pace.
