I think it's an interesting commentary on how PC culture has changed us that making light of Nazis is now far less acceptable than it was back when the real thing was still very fresh in people's minds. We get offended SO much more easily nowadays, and I do think in part because there's a good portion of us that has been conditioned to seek out reasons to be offended.

 

An early role model. We did not have many in those days.

Well, you know, "HH" was created, conceived and executed by the generation that was actually *IN* WW II.

You didn't have to explain to that bunch that the Nazis were bad people.

Their grandkids today seem to be having some confusion on the issue.
