I recently had a conversation with a friend who is left wing by any standards (I think she voted Clinton over Sanders but am not sure). She argued that In the Trump world, it's essential to build as wide a coalition as possible of those rightly horrified. This strikes me as correct, and thus I think it was misguided when the anti-Trump rallies became pro-choice dominated, despite Trump clearly not caring about the subject (he's likely financed a few himself). Roth has a point here, albeit one that has been made countless times before, but the first sentence does nothing but drive away many of us inclined to agree with him.
    Maybe Franzen was right.

    LOL.

Or years ago when he began writing for The Federalist. But you're a Trumpista, so facts are meaningless to you.

Again, I'm not sure why conservatives were so upset about Obama's golf. I know I hope Trump breaks WW's record in a single term. There's only so much damage you can do on a golf course. Better there than working.

    Gratz.

I missed it, but I did see you link a SlateStarCodex blog post and was tempted to bitch about him but changed my mind. He might be the only person on the internet higher off his own farts than me.

Not credibility, but one thing that the US can be proud of is that while far from eradicated, racism, anti-semitism and bias of any kind have been banished from polite company. The danger of Trump, or at least one of them, is making it OK. And like much of the Trump agenda, the left IMO takes some of the blame for this by over-defining bias.

Funny. I don't remember you ever mentioning him before.

Liberals -- oh, I know, you aren't a liberal -- suddenly citing conservatives as experts is hilarious to me.

Was a Tom Nichols criticism of Barack Obama ever posted here by a liberal? Or of Hillary Clinton?

I've never mentioned Fred Bear, Lefty Kreh, Bahama Bob's Beachside Cafe, FrontPorchRepublic.com or the TRCP.org here either. Doesn't mean I don't know and enjoy their contributions.

That one I linked is getting an amazing amount of attention from across the wonkosphere.

And I got my PoMo through an accelerated certificate program offered by St. Alma's College of Chiropractic and Holistic Hermeneutics. You should check it out ... they're offering a two-unit continuing ed re-up for those who've already had certification for awhile.

What do you think he moderates are fighting with? Sticks and stones?
