Those are pretty edgy for Magic. Usually he sticks to stuff like "LeBron James will be key if the Cavaliers are to win another championship."

That's on there too, as are gems like this:

I can see why people wouldn't have been high on MCW after he won Rookie of the Year.

MCW rookie: 16.7 ppg, 6.3 apg, 6.2 rpg, 1.9 spg
Kidd rookie: 11.7 ppg, 7.7 apg, 5.4 rpg, 1.9 spg

Dude. Magic was a great player. You don't have to defend EVERYTHING he does.

One has nothing to do with the other.

I'm not defending him. Magic saw what anyone with 2 brain cells saw in MCW his rookie year so using that particular tweet to make him look dumb is silly.

It has everything to do with each other.

I do not remember a lot of people comparing him to Jason Kidd.

This is not gibberish. He's saying is if either team make the finals they'll win there. Not sure what the point is.

It would seem to be the case that if neither team makes the finals, neither team will win the championship.

It's not that one singular, particular tweet that is making Magic look "dumb". It's a combination of that tweet and many of the others.

Of course, but he's saying that that's the ONLY way neither would win in the middle of the season. That could easily have been wrong.
