Then why did you mention heterosexuals in contrast with transgendered folks:

If you have three bathrooms, then heterosexuals have the choice of two of them, either the one for their gender, or the unisex. Transexuals don't have that option.

You can be both heterosexual and transgendered. Most transgendered people consider themselves to be heterosexual -- meaning their sexual attraction is to the opposite gender than the one they identify with.

Either way, you're conflating sexuality with gender.

The term you were looking for is cis, or cisgender.
